Hi
So its been a while since I have posted something with regards to this series I began sometime in February but today, I hope you will be blessed by the revelation I will share and that it will draw you closer to the Father who really loves you with an everlasting love.
Many times if we are a bit “Christianised” we will have heard many a sermon regarding the need for us to have faith in God and that we must believe and the preacher might have worked out a large sweat trying to get you to understand His point. Maybe it worked or maybe the sermon was a bit overcooked and not helpful to you in the sense of how to do it or whatever something like that; I don’t know but for the moment that is not something I am discussing. What I am saying in this is “God is Faith full, as in He is full of faith.
This may surprise you and you might be wondering what on earth God needs faith for, He is God and anything He wants to happen will happen. Well this may surprise you, but whilst God is in charge, He is not in control. God is not the puppet-master as some may thing and all that happens is His will but rather far from it; we have a role to decide in whether or not that happens. Sin, death, sickness, poverty and suffering are not the will of God for you or anyone else, neither were they in the original blueprint for life on earth, but because Adam and Eve chose to sin, all of this has entered into our lives today. Neither is today loneliness, unfulfilled dreams, addiction, sadness and failed relationships the will of God for you but rather we have a real enemy called the devil who just hates you for being human and pretty much nothing else and will do his best to make your life a picture of sadness.
For the benefit of humanity God chose to die for us, to redeem and justify we who were the ungodly and put before us the option or chance to live a life with the Holy Spirit as our inheritance, to be walking in revelation of the true extent of His love for us and the true cost and weight of sin that we would live in complete victory over it and all its effects. The whole plan has been laid bare and the resource is there; the Holy Spirit our guide. But if we are to be honest, we have on the whole not stewarded this to the best of standards which would be to the standard of God. We have not realised the true cost of sin and many a time we look at the world and we think we are missing out and so we choose to be like them; to walk and to think and to be bound to the same problems that they have. In essence, instead of becoming a light to the world, we are the worst thing we could be and that is a mirror.
And now that you are conscious about this part of sin and the corresponding truth, this is where God being full of faith comes in. You see my friend, God actually believes in you and has the confidence to believe you can and will become the person He created you to be. He believes it unwaveringly, and without doubt for all He does, He does in perfectly. Paul writes to the Colossians I believe and says “I have great confidence in you” and my friend so does God. He has not entrusted the Holy Spirit to us believing and thinking we will fail but he has the confidence in you that no matter if you fall down seven times, eight times you will rise.
Why you may ask, well because He loves you perfectly, He forgives perfectly and He is faith-ful.
May you be blessed my friend.
