2014- Theme of the Year…Part 3

The final part of the theme of the year is Isaiah 45 verse 3 which reads:
I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
Many things are taught when it comes to Christianity and wealth, some of which are purely not true, others which contain distorted elements of truth and some of which is the authentic will of God.

Based on what I have seen in many Zimbabweans lives, I lean only towards one conclusion-for whatsoever reason it is, most people do not really know what the will of God in their finances is and as a result, they live their lives in almost a split type personality manner, one side reverently seeking God and the other. But the truth my friend is there is no need for such a dichotomy.

It is the will of God to prosper His children greatly. God has committed this year to put into our hansds secret treasures, riches of darkness and this not only is for our benefit in our financial status, but that we may also be more aware of whose we are and what we can do. It is to make more firm in our hearts the conviction that God is indeed God, that He can sort out our finances and that we can allow aourselves to a place of complete trust in Him as He will never let us fall.

Not only can we trust God in finances but in addition, we are summoned by name-not by a corporate identity but by our own individual names as God knows as our situations and desires to address them specifically. We are summoned and it is official that the God of heaven and earth has business with us.  These secret riches are not merely an increase in the profitability of your ventures, some of it is unexpected and things you would not have planned for but that God will surprise you with.
There may have been unmet needs in the past years for whatsoever reason-unpaid rent, no money for school fees, a debt spiralling out of control-which I assure you was not the will of God; but this year the Lord has sent forth his Word
His Word is living and active, more powerful than any two edged sword and like the rain it the seed in dry ground until it bursts forth into life. It does not matter what the situation looks like, God is neither worried nor intimidated by it and He can and will get you out and bring you to a place of refreshment. Finances often are the biggest worry individuals possess especially in a country like mine, I am not oblivious of that fact.

But more than that, I am fully aware that a barren earth, formless and void came to be alive and vibrant with life at the Word. His Word He has exalted even above His name and what He has spoken for this year, He will do in your life and when you look back, you will find that this Word of His will have turned you from a place of financial barrenness, lack and servitude and put you into a place of plenty.

So fear not, it shall be well.
