I shared this at church today; it is a word of encouragement which I believe the Lord has for us at this moment and in this season.
It is out of Isaiah 55:9-10 which more or less says the following -as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, feed the earth and make it bring forth and so give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be which goes forth from my mouth, it shall not return to me void but it shall do what I sent it for and be prosperous therein.
And out of those, I believe the Lord would want to tell us to remember the word he has spoken-that which at some point put peace in our hearts and rest to our souls but now maybe has been drowned out by what everyday life has been like-I believe the Lord wants to remind us that the world we see was made out of what cannot be seen, that by his world was everything formed and with the word He has spoken for you, he will make good.
So I encourage you to hold on to the word, to meditate and focus on it and let it again bring peace to you for the Lord would want you to know that He will make good on His word.
