Psalms 103:8 declares the following
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in love.
It is a simple scripture but my focus today, is on the first word or attribute given, compassion.
Have you ever gone through a situation and it was hard? It took its toll on you, your sleep patterns and even your well being. Maybe it was or it is more than mental, physical even to the point where you wonder where your next meal will come from or where school fees money will come from?
And maybe even as you went through it that it felt as though no one really understood and you wondered where your help will come from? The bible says in this part that my Lord my Father is compassionate and my friend this is true. God understands what you are going through, He sees the pain you go through and more than just understand what you are going through, he is willing and able to get you through.
You see compassion is more than pity, it carries the will and ability to get you out of your pain and into a place of rest, peace and prosperity.
My prayer for you today is whatever situation, whatever problem you are facing and whatever pain you are going through you experience Today the compassion of God to heal and to save you and to bring alive whatever area of your life that is now in ruins.
