2015 -A year for Redemption

At the start of each year, we are excited; we look forward with anticipation and eagerness to see what will be the defining theme that runs throughout that particular year. And it has been my discovery over the years that God also with time periods gives specific things or a message for the year so to speak that becomes the thing by which we are to remember the year most clearly for so to speak.

And today I will share what I believe the Lord has spoken concerning the year that has come

2015—A year for Redemption….

Thus saith the Lord
 

–It shall be a year of redemption
–You shall know who you are
— You shall be confident in who you are
–And like moths to the flame
–Shall the world come to you
–To seek the salvation that you show

The scripture for this is in Isaiah 32:2 whose context is the description of what the Kingdom of righteousness is all about. It reads “And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land” (KJV).

 

We often forget that the world is a place in which a devil who hates humanity is in charge and has so deceived our fellows so as to keep them trapped, wounded and hurt and with no lasting solutions to meet their true needs. Only God is the source of lasting joy, peace and prosperity. Sometimes we even see someone boastful of enjoying life in sin, and we have tried to guilt them out, to reason but it has not worked and at times we are tempted to follow suit because we lose sight of who we really are.

 

Weell , my friend this year God wants to bring redemption to so many people on the world by dealing with you, that you know who you are as his son, that you are secure in that because you already have what everyone longs for-the unconditional love of God and the gift of His presence with you that brings peace and in so doing, the world will just look at the light in your life and know that indeed that what they do need you have and of their own accord, they will come to you to say I want what you have, I want to leave this life of sin and know peace and joy like you do.

 

Also, the Lord wants to let you know your prayers have not been in vain. Maybe you have a stubborn child who has not wanted anything to do with God and you have agonised in prayer over them, maybe it is a cheating husband or spouse; or it is a friend you have longed for and been praying for–this year God will redeem them, the North, the South, the East and the West shall give up the children of God and they will return to their rightful home–the presence of their Father.
 

 

So my friend, be at peace and relax-the Lord shall teach you to know who you really are and as you walk in it, so shall many sinners come to the light and be redeemed.
