A lot of times, we misunderstand who God is. We see Him through false filters that hide who He really is and wants to be to us and we lose the opprtunity to live life to the fullest that we can live it. You see, God is love and He is joy; outside of Him all you will see are mirages, lingering spectres that promise joy and refreshment from a distance in a sweltering desert; but which in reality once you get there, all you find is a deeper emptiness. Today, my friend, may you be encouraged as I unveil to you something I titled work fit for God. One of those poetic pieces I often like to do in my spare time.
An addiction that Jesus cannot set you free from does not exist
A sin whose power He cannot overcome is not there
A pit too deep, quicksand so high above your nostrils that you are beyond rescue?
A murky tar pit from which He cannot lift you?
No!!! All of this does not exist
He does not request that I clean myself up before I come, for I could never clean myself up to a point where I deserved a moment’s breath in His presence;
But He does request that I come as I am
To come with the shame, the pain and all the darkness that resides in the heart
He requests that I say yes to His offer of salvation.
One whole hearted yes to who He is and He will set free.
He will break the chains off me and I will know what it is to be in a place called freedom
Only but to just come to Him and accept His love
His love is Almighty and conquers all.
A taste of His love will set you free from whatever it is that traps you;
Be it pornography, alcohol, nicotine or whatever it is that may hold you captive.
If you would allow God to love you.
If you would allow His grace in your life;
And if you would allow Him to be your tender Father, He would shelter you in His wings
He would take out the stony heart in you and place in you a heart of flesh
He would give you His peace for He is the source of all peace
He would be your Abba, and you would be the object of His affection and you would know it
He loves you, He really does; Even with all the guilt, shame and condemnation you give yourself
Won’t you come to Him and say yes?
Won’t you allow Him to come and do a mighty work of grace in you, to turn your heart from sinners to saints and justify the ungodly?
Won’t you come and allow Him to do the work He does,
Work fit for a God of Love
And right now this is my prayer and my word to you over your life right now. If you are in any sort of bondage or chains and you desire freedom, then in the Name of Jesus be free from right now on and forever. If you are sick, In the name of Jesus be healed from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. Whatsoever the enemy has put as a hindrance in your life, I command it to be destroyed right now in the name of Jesus.
Now my friend yield to the love of God, yield to the Lord Jesus as He will continue to reveal Himself to you in these days as He really is, not as we have often been lied to or misinformed.
