Beneath the unfamiliar Harare sun and the foreign cacophony of rude and obnoxious conductors calling for customers, Rudo was certain that Harare could never be her home. Squirming within to avoid both physical and eye contact with the unruly mob,she walked briskly towards her boarding point.

When she felt the intrusion of a cold, rough hand unceremoniously begin to drag her towards on of the kombis, her world closed in on her in a moment. In futily, she tried to free herself but her adrenaline induced strength was no match for his street wits. For all the wrong reasons, Harare was about to leave her with a memory she would not be able to forget.
